Quiet magic for the in-between days

There’s something about these last weeks in December that feels both like I’ve stepped onto a rushing polar express—all busyness and bright whistles and life streaking by at colorful warp speed—and like I’m standing at the edge of a quiet wood, one whose snowbank is beckoning me to just…rest.
These last weeks of the year are a time of contradictions: bright lights and dark nights, endings and beginnings, endless gatherings and the embodied urge to just curl up and hibernate.
It can feel tiring (especially for us sensitives) as these seemingly opposite energies get as tangled together as Christmas twine. So if you’re feeling more permeable than celebratory at times this season, you are not alone, dear one.
Need a gentle pause right now? (or, like me, want to fall face-first into a snowbank and simply drift for a bit?)…I released two new podcast episodes as companions:
Navigating the Holidays as an Empath
How to survive this time with grace + the specific tools I use to stay connected to myself when everything feels loud.
The Forgotten Celtic Omen Days
My favorite divinatory ritual for these in-between days. Every year I’m amazed by how accurate this is.
And if you’re wanting even DEEPER support as we step into the threshold of this new year…
Enrollment for Winter Intuition School is open until January 1st… and the entire course is 80% OFF
This five-week, online retreat is a deep dive into my most essential kit of intuitive tools—shamanic journeying, dreamwork, channeling, communicating with nature spirits…
Like the Pleiades in the wintertime, these tools provide a map back to yourself on the longest nights (and make for a wonderful solstice gift).
The entire course—with five class recordings, PDF guides, playlists, and weekly readings—is designed to take you deep into the mysticism available to you at this time.
It will go back into the archives in the new year, so if you’re feeling the call to connect to your own inner knowing this season…come join us.
And as you move through these in-between days, remember that magic is like the solstice sun.
No matter what you do (or don’t do), it’ll return again.
You just have to stand in the doorway of your life, and allow the light to stream in.
