Meet Your Support Team

Alelí Lauria
Behind-the-scenes Wizard

Alelí is our behind-the-scenes wizard. From (wo)manning our inbox to shipping apothecary orders, Alelí is the unseen magic behind most our doings. If you reach out to us via email Alelí will be right there to answer your questions. With over seven years of experience as a student and employee, Alelí knows the material inside and out and is here to support you on your journey.

Alelí’s dance between the right and left parts of her brain creates a beautiful balance of creativity and organization. She’s like a standing stone: she weaves the invisible threads that hold space for magic to happen while staying rooted and grounded. She loves color, tarot, archetypes and symbols, traveling, collaging, making up words in English and Spanish (her first language), getting lost in translation and walking the bridge between the visible and invisible worlds.

Shannon Nichole
Communication Angel

Our team’s communication angel, Shannon is a cross between a hygge witch and forest elf—forever devoted to the soulful beauty of the cosmos, including human animals and their stories. Drawing on her training in counseling, permaculture, and the expressive arts therapies, Shannon can be found with her telltale warmth and wisdom in both our course forums and email inbox. She currently tends to a cozy old house at a crossroads and is joyfully “stuck in” a process of seeding new life in an adjacent hedged garden. Her spell for the perfect day would include the following ingredients: a mountain, a crisp morning, and the mingled scent of woodsmoke and fresh forest air. (Bonus points for a journal and a spicy chai).

Apothecary Caretaker

Nikki is the Caretaker of One Willow Apothecaries—the cozy hub for all of Asia’s bottled and bound offerings. She spends her days at the apothecary blending flower essence magic, tending to the plants and preparing packages with care. Nikki is a lover of nature and enjoys spending time in the forest singing to the trees. She is a mama to 2, gardener, beekeeper, hiker, avid reader, herbalist, medicine maker, explorer, myth seeker, and keeper of old ways. Nikki weaves earth centered healing traditions and wool fibers. When away from the apothecary she can be found at the loom weaving, knitting and spinning fiber, creating an intricate web, with memories of the earth, ancestors and plant medicine.

Kira Suler
Website architect and Design Mystic

Kira is our in-house designer and is responsible for so much of the beauty you see here on the website and within our online courses. With a degree in graphic design from UCLA Kira is like the ultimate pocket knife macgyver for all things art and loveliness-related. She’s a print maker, silk screener, painter, photographer, website builder, image manipulator, wood worker, branding nymph, illustrator, logo creator, and world constructor. Kira has been the visionary behind this space’s cozy, tea-house interior since the beginning (and, yes, Asia and Kira are sisters!)

Noel Ruiz
Web Wizard

Noel is our website wizard. He takes pride in building and maintaining the various website features while supporting Asia’s healing vision. Formally trained in computer science, you will often find Noel steeping in website code and musing about technical stuff. Though computers are natively binary, Noel delights in seeing the world in full spectrum with all of its beauty and mystery. When he’s AFK (away from keyboard) Noel spends time planting trees, cooking from the garden, practicing tai chi, loitering in nature and learning how to be a better man from his young son.

Ann Nguyen
Website Tender

Ann works alongside Noel as a team to tend and grow this online sanctuary. Ann is a weaver and grower of beauty. She especially loves organic, natural design and she thrives on collaborative and creative projects. Ann’s career began in online marketing and photography, but she has always been called to nature. She feels deeply aligned with Asia’s vision of earth-based healing and she is honored to tend to and nurture this online space’s growth and spread the message of self-healing far and wide.
