The Fifth Season | Ep. 79

Show notes

Between summer and fall, there’s a season most of us have felt but never had a name for. That bronze-lit, earth-warmed slowdown. The cool nights beginning to creep in. The sense that even as things are still blooming, something is incrementally shifting. In Chinese medicine, this in-between time has its own name, its own medicine, and its own invitation: late summer, the fifth season.

In this episode, I revisit a transmission on what this season is asking of us, how it shows up in the body, and what you can do to receive its nourishment as we come off the bonfire of summer and begin to tend the frayed edges of ourselves.
