Help us heal in the wake of Hurricane Helene
Help us heal in the wake of Hurricane Helene
On September 27th, 2024 our beloved apothecary was destroyed when our entire town was buried under the floodwaters of Hurricane Helene. For almost a decade, the heart of my business has been this light-filled apothecary on Blannahassett Island in Marshall, NC. If you’ve been walking with me for a while, you’ll know that for many years we were simply known as One Willow Apothecaries.
In the wake of the hurricane, that space, and all that we’ve built there over the last decade, is gone.
Clean up will be immense. Starting over again a dream we haven’t quite touched yet.
For now, we’re focusing on how to remove the thick layer of toxic sludge the flood left behind, saying goodbye to all our beautiful medicines, and doing what we can to help save our historic town, and the entire community that is there.
It is with deep, humbled, and cracked open hearts that we are inviting anyone who feels called to, to help us cross the muddy current of this time.
Please know that every monetary contribution, as well as prayer and extension of care, is so deeply appreciated.
Any funds raised in excess of what’s necessary for keeping us afloat will be donated directly to our community here, which is profoundly in need.
Our hearts are breaking for this entire region, and every being impacted by the destruction. But the tide of love and care has also been immense.
I am flooded with gratitude for each and every one of you. For this beautiful chapter of my life. For its ending, and for what will begin again on the other side.
Together, we will get through this.
Dearest Asia, I’m so sorry I hadn’t realized. I had just received an email about an addition to the Intuitive Plant course and went on your website and saw the Hurricane tab. I can’t even imagine how devastating this must feel. Sending so much love to you and your whole community. And I just looked through your other courses – hope purchasing a few will help. 💕💕💕
Continued prayers for all beings who’ve been impacted by Helene.
